Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This page describes what this website stores in your browser and how we use analytics and marketing tools.

Essential functionality.

This website stores only essential items in your browser: your language preference (meocy-lang) in local storage. Spam protection on forms uses a hidden form field and limits on how many requests are accepted; it does not store anything in your browser.

Your language preference is necessary for the site to work and does not require your consent. The sections below describe the other items the site stores and when your consent is needed.

Analytics (Google Analytics 4).

If you enable analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site: which pages you visit, how long you stay, and where you come from.

Google Analytics uses cookies and identifiers to track your activity across sessions. No personal data (email, phone, name) is sent to Google.

Analytics is optional and disabled by default. You can enable or disable it anytime using the cookie settings link in the footer.

Marketing (Meta Pixel).

If you enable marketing, we use Meta Pixel to measure the performance of our advertising campaigns and understand which ads bring visitors to our site.

Meta Pixel uses cookies and identifiers to track actions on the site. No personal data (email, phone, name) is sent to Meta.

Marketing is optional and disabled by default. You can enable or disable it anytime using the cookie settings link in the footer.

Language preference (local storage).

The website saves one item in your browser's local storage, called meocy-lang. It remembers the language you use on the site (English, Italian or French).

It is saved on your first visit, based on your browser's language, and updated when you change language. It is not a cookie, is not sent to us and stays in your browser until you clear this site's data.

Consent choices (local storage).

The website saves your analytics and marketing choices in your browser's local storage, under the name meocy-consent. It also records that you have made a choice (meocy-consent-dismissed), so the cookie banner is not shown again on every visit.

These choices stay in your browser and are not sent to us. They remain until you clear this site's data or change your choices.

Campaign attribution (session storage, with consent).

If you have accepted analytics or marketing, the website keeps, for the current browser tab only and under the name meocy_attribution, the campaign details from the link you arrived through: the UTM tags (source, medium, campaign, content and term), the path of the page you landed on, and whether the link came from a Meta or Google ad.

For an ad click, only a yes/no indicator is kept. The ad click ID value itself is never stored or sent. Accepting only analytics keeps the campaign details; withdrawing marketing removes the ad-click indicator; withdrawing both removes everything.

When you send a booking request or enquiry, these details appear only in MEOCY's internal notification email, so we can see which campaign it came from. They are never included in emails sent to you. The stored details are removed when the tab is closed.

Booking confirmation (session storage).

After you send a Milan or Paris booking request, the website keeps a minimal booking summary in your browser, under the names meocy_milan_booking_confirmation or meocy_paris_booking_confirmation: the booking reference, package, date, time, price and, for Milan, the selected locations. It does not keep your name, email address, phone number, country, number of people or notes. This lets the confirmation be shown again if you reload the page. It is stored whether or not you have accepted cookies.

It stays in this browser tab only and is removed when you start a new request or close the tab. When it is checked after a reload, an entry older than 30 minutes is removed. An entry saved by an earlier version of this website that still contains contact details is replaced with the minimal summary. The booking emails sent to you and to MEOCY still contain the details needed to process the booking.

How to manage or remove cookies.

You can change your consent preferences at any time by clicking the cookie settings link in the website footer. When you withdraw consent, the website stops sending new tracking data to Google Analytics or Meta Pixel. Cookies these services have already set remain until they expire or you delete them, as described below.

To remove existing cookies set by these services, you can delete them by clearing your browser's site data. Instructions vary by browser — search your browser's help section for "clear cookies" or "clear site data". Alternatively, you can opt out of Google Analytics in your Google account settings, or manage Meta tracking through your Meta Ads Preferences.

Third-party services.

Google Analytics and Meta Pixel are operated by third parties. Their own privacy policies and terms apply. You can opt out of Google Analytics at any time by visiting their opt-out page. You can control Meta Pixel tracking in your Meta Ads Settings.
